Drake For All The Dogs album review | The Watermelon

Listening to the new Drake album was actually a pleasant surprise. Usually most albums, rap or otherwise, has a handful of listenable songs and maybe a few repeat listens. This new Drak album has more great than bad, and the songs that are skips for me have less to do with poor execution and more to do with subjective taste. I still think a few of the songs on here could have been edited differently, especially the 21 savage feature, but I don't have major complaints. I think the theme of the album being a toxic or machismo angle is simple but is well executed, most songs sound similar but have enough lyrical or beat differences to separate them from folding in onto each other.
Over all was a good project and think that if Drake follows this thee of staying on topic over an album it leads to better structure and less scatter brain songs that may or may not hit the target.
With all that being said I hope to never hear Spanish Drake or a Sexy Red feature ever again.
