Rolling Out Tactical Anti-Aircraft Missile Systems
RUSSIAN forces display military might by rolling out tactical anti-aircraft missile systems amid Ukraine invasion.
In the mid-1980s, the anti-aircraft missile system "Tor" entered service. The complex has been modernised numerous times over the past thirty years, and the current versions - "Tor-M2" and "Tor-M2U" - are many times superior to what was available to the troops thirty years ago.
There is no other anti-aircraft missile system in the world that can fire its missiles on the move.
In tests conducted on country roads at 25 km/h, targets have been consistently achieved. The "Tor" can shield army columns from an airstrike on the march.
