NS Laying a Panel Turnout and More!
After L84 and 124 cleared, maintenance crews, using one of those big highrail trucks that can haul railcars, pulled the four panels of the replacement turnout for CP East Richmond off of the panel turnout car to the ground beside the track. Then they waited for the 9,000 foot 144 to clear and the highrail truck with the panel turnout car went back downtown to put the car in a siding. Afterward, I caught a couple more trains.
