Chuck E. Cheese Rockville, MD Update (July 2022)
Well after 9 months of not visiting a CEC or uploading any content, I drop this video of Rockville, MD (a store that’s not even local to me) out of the blue. It’s crazy to me that this is my first video of 2022. I don’t even know whether or not to say Happy New Years I mean 2022 will be over in a few months lol. I’m actually hoping to upload more content now that stages are being removed; the nearby CEC in Laurel, MD which was known for having the last Pizzacam in existence recently got 2.0 and removed the stage (there’s a rumor the show is being saved for a Chuck E Cheese Museum that’s supposed to open in Florida who knows when but for now it’s just a rumor) so stages are now starting to go for real this time. My local stores Edison and Wayne were supposed to start their remodels this month but they were pushed back to September (won’t be surprised if they get pushed back again haha that’s what always happens). 2.0 still has yet to come to NJ and the remodel has been out for 5 years so that’s crazy to me. It’ll come eventually but I’m most definitely in no rush to see some of the stages I grew up with go.
Hope you enjoyed this short update of Rockville, this store is thankfully still Phase 3 not sure for how much longer but I’m grateful they still have a lot of cool classic artwork even if the place is much brighter and the tubes were removed. And the stage is still in good condition so that’s good to see. I will be visiting Edison soon and whenever they receive 2.0, I will be there before the show removal so expect more videos coming soon.
