In this video we are looking at two of the most powerful photo editors available, Photoshop and Affinity Photo. We are going to explore one of the most confusing features that’s common to both. If you’re using Photoshop, it’s the Blend If control, and in Affinity, it's Blending Ranges.
These blending controls allow you to blend different layers in an image based on the tones. If you want an effect to be seen only in the lightest or darkest tones, then these blending controls are an easy way to achieve this. But you can achieve so much more when you understand how they work.
