Although soldering and desoldering may seem easy, it is actually a demanding task especially surface mount components without using an SMD soldering gun. Desoldering small SMD component from PCB may be easy if you own right equipment but not always you have a hot air station for desoldering electronic components so you must rely on your normal soldering iron. When changing an SMD compomemt you need to clean PCB pads with the soldering gun and desolder wick before solder new SMD component, so in this video we show how to desolder small electronic componets and clean the PCB pads using only a soldering machine and desoldering wick.
