Preying Mantis At The Gas Station
Wanted to share me somehow finding a auburn colored preying mantis at a random gas station when I was commuting home. I was surprised it didn't jump when I film it so close with my phone.
Don't ask me what species it is because I thought it was a grasshopper at first glance but it's clearly a preying mantis. I'm more surprised that the color wasn't green but I guess that's nature.
