Disclaimer: I apologize to any fans of the 80's band, 90's and current rock band "Journey". I myself am a Journey fan. I only chose them due to how well known they are, so making fun of them saying it's boring to listen to the same songs over and over was possibly one of the toughest things I did for this commercial.
So for my College TV Production class, I had to make both a 30 & 15 second commercial (if it were to air on Television). The trick was it had to be related to our college. So what better way than to once again give a shout out to our college radio, 92.7 WGFR "The Revolution". Also, as stated above, I'm a Journey fan so "dissing" them and saying they're boring to listen to over and over was one of the toughest things I had to do. I only picked them due to their popularity with their name. Otherwise, I'm glad with how the commercial came out, but again there was some things I felt were either missing or sections that may have needed more. For the time limits given, I felt they gave the desired message though. Hope you guys enjoyed and as always, have a great day.
