Recently, on my Instagram (IG @ramenbowl_t) I uploaded my version of 달고나커피 (Dalgona) and so many of You were curious about it. Basically, Dalgona aka Frothy coffee- is a super famous coffee #trend in Korea nowadays (mainly because of how many times you whisk it & also because it's super yummy :p) So today, I would like to share how I make #달고나커피 :) The key point of it- is frothing the coffee mixture until it's super fluffy & light in color.
The recipe as follows: ( good for 2 portions )
= Coffee mixture =
6 tablespoons of instant coffee (I used Nescafe GOLD)
6-7 tablespoons of white sugar
6 tablespoons of hot water
You'll also need:
Glass
Ice
Milk of your choice (I used lactose-free milk)
= Instructions =
1. Pour coffee + sugar + hot water into a bowl/glass
2. Mix it all well & start whipping
3. Whip until light in color & super fluffy
4. Once ready, put ice & pour milk into a glass, top it off with Dalgona coffee mixture
*TIP:
For best result, use hand mixer for a fluffier mixture
IF you don't have a hand mixer, you can use a whisk or a fork (whisk it well tho)
