Linux apps on Chrome OS
The other day at the shop I was speaking to a technician working on power washing a Chromebook. She was finishing up the process and started telling me about how bad Chromebooks are. Me being a daily user of Chromebooks for over 8 years, I’m always curious to know why they are so “bad”. The first thing most PC users mention is High end gaming. Then, you have to be on the web all the time. You can’t edit video, audio, etc. So, I go on to mention Android and Linux app support. Then, she says “The Android are just converted mobile apps, but you said about Linux?”. I went to show her my laptop realizing the developer options were turned off, so I decided to record the process.
