The bios is what makes and breaks your computer if you don't have it setup to run right when you are trying to install windows you can have problems, you can also have problems when the bios is corrupt, then you can either try flashing the bios or you have to get a new motherboard. If you don't know how to flash a bios and it is your first time be careful as you can corrupt the bios
