Dongfanghong I or DFH-1 (simplified Chinese: 东方红一号; traditional Chinese: 東方紅一號; pinyin: Dōngfānghóng Yīhào; literally: 'The East is Red 1') was the first space satellite of the People's Republic of China (PRC), launched successfully on 24 April 1970. The satellite carried a radio transmitter which broadcast the song “The East is Red”.

Dong Fang Hong I o DFH-1 (en chino simplificado: 东方红一号, en chino tradicional: 東方紅一號; pinyin: Dōngfānghóng Yīhào; significando: 'El Este es rojo 1') fue el primer satélite espacial de la República Popular de China (RPC), lanzado exitosamente el 24 de abril de 1970. El satélite llevaba un transmisor de radio que emitía la canción “El Este es rojo”.
