Considerations For Shooting High Resolutions

Higher resolutions (anything above 4K, and hey... sometimes even 4K) can be difficult to work with. Here are some practical things to consider when shooting in different resolutions.
That isn't to say you can't use them, you certainly can and that's awesome. But you need to make considerations and think WHY you want to shoot that resolution, what is it going to bring to the project?
And of course, I know I didn't mention proxy files but even with proxy some people may have trouble processing large file sizes from resolutions like 6K, 8K etc.

As mentioned at the end of the video, I'm going to take some time off to heal from wisdom teeth removal and will be back in a week or two! And apologies for the talking heads style videos. We are currently in a stage three lock down here in Melbourne so we shouldn't go out unless absolutely necessary. Hope to be back to some more exciting content soon. Stay safe!
