Polyform Model Air - Air Dry Modeling Clay Demo
In this product review and demo, I show you the basics on how to work with Model Air modeling clay. This clay is made by the makers of Sculpey and it is an air dry clay so it does not require any baking in order to get it to harden. The clay is made of paper so it is smooth and you can add a touch of water to help smooth out any imperfections.
In my demos, I will show you how to create a simple bowl or plate and using a crocheted doily, you can make a textured pattern by pressing it into the clay and letting it dry. I also make a tiny gnome using the clay and show you how to do simple smoothing and blending at the seams to get two pieces to stick together. After they have dried a few days, i use acrylic paint on them to add color.
