Scales are converted to required unit and then drawn to the suitable scale.
Scales are two types
1.Reduced scale - Bigger size drawing convert to smaller size.
2. Enlarged scale - Smaller size drawing convert to larger size.
Scales like - 1:100, 1:50
It is also useful for site engineer to take measurement from the drawing without using autocad drawing.
If the drawing measurements are not given using tape/scale to read the dimension and convert later to suitable scale.
