Hey everyone! I know I've been idle for quite a bit... (Perhaps I should actually use the community tab 😅) but I'm finally back with a new TAS! Currently, on world 6 on the Banana Blitz TAS, I'll try to have that wrapped up by the time Banana Mania comes out!

TASVideos.org submission: http://tasvideos.org/7206S.html

Done in 52,774 frames or 14:41.1 seconds with 44064 Re-records.
This is an improvement from my previous TAS by 2,487 frames or 41.45 seconds.
If timed using RTA timing, it would be 14:13.

The current RTA world record is by SuperViperT:    • Pac 'n Roll Remix - Any% Speedrun in 22:16...
Huge shoutouts to him for helping me discover some new strategies and generally being awesome overall! I'd also like to thank Garo for helping me with some mesh collisions and for talking to me about potential strategies!

I will upload an author commentary over the entire run where I break down every single tip and trick that you see since there's a lot to explain! However, I will include a simple summary of some of the more unique tricks:

Sticky boost:
This isn’t a particular action on its own but rather the behavior of some surfaces. If Pac-man has a specific align and boosts while near another surface, Pac-man will sometimes "snap" onto the new surface, despite Pac-man's previous speed. How specific the alignment has to be varies based on how much two pieces overlap with each other. Being able to dash AND take a more direct route saves a lot of time compared to RTA where the trick just isn't feasible.

Ramp clipping:
By moving parallel to the bottom of certain ramps and then tapping towards the ramp, you can clip into it and propel yourself forward slightly. This is faster than just holding straight in a direction by actually quite a surprising amount although I'm not entirely sure how this happens. Since the last TAS, I've discovered more places where this is possible. The most notable places where this happen is the beginning of 2-2 and 4-4

There's a lot more I want to discuss (Like why I sometimes take a bit of an angle towards the goal) but it'll have to wait until I finish the commentary. If you do have any questions, feel free to ask.
