For his new documentary film Ani-Maux, Sylvère Petit takes us into the daily lives of patients in a veterinary clinic. Its original approach is to position itself - and us - at the height of the animals for a new and powerful experience. Thus, we accompany Max, Smith, Lilou, Kali with their pain, their old age, their simple ailments until healing and sometimes death. From the waiting room to the operation through the doubts and laughter in consultation, gradually their stories act like a strange mirror on ourselves.
