Happy 🚶♀️#Walktober 🎃, Sparkle Squad. 📣 Let's get moving again this October with a fun walking challenge.
🖎 Blog post: https://sparklebymonica.com/2024-walk... 📅 I've created another free printable calendar, a scavenger hunt 🏴☠️, and 3 different prize 🏆 categories for those with and without step trackers or phone apps. The downloads are inside the group.
Male and female participants are welcome to join this walking challenge despite the group name.
Rules:
1. Join my Sparkling Sole Sippin' Sisters private Facebook group: / 403841120978514
2. WALK & remember to hydrate!
3. Do the scavenger hunt on the designated days on the calendar. (Tip: Post photos of your found item in the Facebook group so we can all see and it's easier to track).
4. You can write each day's steps on the calendar to help track if you are using a phone app vs. FitBit/ Apple Watch, etc. You can also put a checkmark on each day of the calendar if you're not tracking steps, but just completing a daily walk. Both options have a prize category.
5. For the person with the highest # of steps walked by the end of the month, you will receive a complete handmade jewelry set from me (necklace, earrings, bracelet) in your favorite color(s) with materials I have on hand.
6. For the non-tracking participants in the scavenger hunt and daily walk categories, you will be in the 2nd/ 3rd place categories and receive a handmade bracelet and earrings set from me.
7. In the event of a tie, I will use a random giveaway app to help me choose between the lucky few.
8. International participants are not eligible for mailed prizes, but you can still download the free calendar and scavenger hunt file from the group!
9. Everyone is a winner in this walking challenge! Make sure to join the group and start walking on October 1st!
10. Prizes will be announced the 1st weekend in November.
