BIM GIS and Parametric Urban Design
Pawel Laguna Digital construction advisor and registered architect. Currently as a CTO in graph'it managing complex projects, implementing technological advances on various stages of the building life cycle, including parametric design, BIM, CDE, CAFM and IoT solutions. Responsible for information strategies and Building Information Modelling implementations in public and private sector (Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Poznan City, PORR). Creating reports and advising on complex investments ranging from huge infrastructure projects to skyscrapers. Authoring applications and algorithms used in urban and architectural planning, optimizing business models of investments.
For the last 8 years, responsible for the coordination and supervision over multi-branch design documentation of more than 60 projects in the Central and Eastern Europe. Previous design experience gained during the development of various architectural projects executed in Europe and USA.
Lecturer at MA and post-graduate studies, speaker at numerous conferences and events related to the digitization of construction. Author of scientific articles covering innovations in the construction sector and a co-author of studies aimed at increasing the efficiency of this sector in Poland. Opened doctoral thesis at the Poznan University of Technology, concerning the implementation of BIM methodology for historical buildings.
