Here are three lines from John Pisano's solo on Chico Hamilton's recording of Caravan from 1957. These lines sound really modern, and are way ahead of their time! I also take a look at how to add a few notes to one of the lines to make it fit into a typical ii-V-I progression. Hope you enjoy!
