Barn with in-floor Heat and a Full Bathroom!
The last update video on our barn build! This took us about 6 months to complete in total, working after work and on weekends. Thank you for following along everyone, this has been an incredible learning experience. I plan to do a video soon to break down what it costs to build a similar size barn yourself!
The house will be starting very soon so if you guys enjoyed the barn videos, the house is going to be on another level. We have spent the past 2 years designing every square inch of it and are beyond excited to get it started. We set out on this channel to not only document our journey for future reflection but to show people that you can truly do anything yourself, if you are willing to mess up and give things a try. The only experience I had before this barn was setting windows and pouring concrete; everything else was watching YouTube videos or asking friends for advice. There certainly is a purpose for general contractors and builders, but if you are young and willing to do the physical work, it can save you hundreds of thousands of dollars.
These videos take hours to film and about 5-10 hours to edit each one.
