Bangkok Slum - alone with no tour guide.
This was a completely unplanned visit into Bangkok's most well-known slum - Khlong Toei. It's located by the docks by the river on the southern side of Rama IV road.
I was near the area and I decided to wonder in and see what it's like. I'd never been before and I was told I should probably get a guide. I'm completely fluent in Thai and I always feel like going in groups is often more dangerous.
It turns out, they were all really nice and welcoming. That's not to say there aren't any problems.
