Reacting to an American Speaking Thai (with Cheat Sheet)
Sentences ⬇️ In this video I give constructive criticism how to say those sentences correctly. As much as I found the person's pronunciation completely wrong and quite hard to understand, I also felt it was funny and "cute" so I couldn't help laughing in the video. My intention was to educate learners and send out the message to those people seriously wanting to learn that they need to know "DO NOT speak like this because nothing good can come of it."
I've read some comments on the Facebook post where her video was shared and those were compliments that might have created confusion to total beginners. On the other hand, a lot of comments on the IG post where her video was shared reflected how many Thais didn't really like what they were hearing. Based on the comments, some of them even felt she came across as she was just making fun of the language.
While I always encourage everyone to keep practicing, this kind of mistakes can definitely be avoided. I hope my video is useful kaaaaa ❤️
