6 fantastic, comedic tracks from the masters, Alan Parker and Barry Morgan.
Lifted from the LP, Wish you were here.
Picture if you will, these Music cues used in various disaster scenarios and 70's cheeky sitcom blunders.
For instance -
1 -A sweating Terry Scott falling through the loft backwards straight in to the yellow kitchen below.Tables, dust and trifle everywhere.Cue studio canned laughter.Slowly gets to feet and stares at his lover and confidante June, and in the same winded breath screams "Ya Bastard!"
2 - Beret catastrophe ,Frank Spencer, turns local Greggs store inside out by really stupid gas maintenance explosion.Turns to slowly revolving camera covered in flour and with confused dead eyes says,"Fuck it, i'm done Betty."
3 - 70's looking painter, with Senior Service Mustard stained fingers slides down stepladder screaming whilst looking sideways. You know the scenario at the bottom.Bargain Shiny shoes fly off with socks included. On impact let's out massive fart and possible Bar Six.Clawing the grass in unforgivable agony with two broken gloves. Both Feet plates pointing south and east.Couple of chuckles from window above by his fellow Scone Hat wearing ,Nosferatu looking decorators.
4 - 70's carry on innuendo overload as Sid James with his Krull laugh and weather beaten mitre , alongside big Bernard Coleslaw, eye up the local Butlins ladies through their binoculars.Only for the big man Bresslaw, to slip backwards from their Tree-Hut, and land on his back-pockets.Shouts with concern and a dash of humour, "I think i've broke my arse Sid!"
All the best folks.
Enjoy these joyful droplets of pleasure.
