Are Active Crossovers Easier than Passive? NO!
I know this isn't as exciting and uplifting as the videos that tell you how to do something, but it needed to be said. Sorry about the quick editing, kids were around.
Please don't use active crossovers as a band-aid for the complexities of passive crossover design. It's still just as much work.
