QUICK SHIMANO BLEED / How to bleed your brakes in 5 minutes.
Today I'll show you how to quickly bleed a Shimano brake like a pro.
This isn't a complete brake fluid replacement, which requires a different procedure. Here, we're simply removing any air bubbles that might be present in the hydraulic system without replacing the brake fluid.
This procedure is useful after connecting a hose to a new brake or to restore proper feel to a brake that wasn't properly bled beforehand (for example, on a new bike that wasn't properly prepared).
Remember that brakes are an essential safety component. If you're not absolutely confident you can perform this operation perfectly, entrust your bike to a professional.
