Nowadays, there's a noticeable explosion in the number of platforms built by companies. From startups to large global-scale companies, all can leverage from having a set of platforms being built, to ensure their IT assets are centrally, and uniformly managed, complying with hard security requirements, while allowing freedom to the engineers to build their applications.
This talk presents common strategies to include in any platform standards to ensure that the security best practices are enforced: from the assets hosted in the cloud to the tools used to enforce security best coding practices.
Pedro is a Cloud Engineer@PMI working on the platform used to host all PMI apps. He's passionate about infrastructure in the cloud, and how to bring engineering to build maintainable, debt-free systems that have real-life applications.
