Let's Talk about Derek DelGaudio's IN AND OF ITSELF (2021, Hulu)
Derek Delgaudio's special IN AND OF ITSELF just dropped on Hulu, you can watch the trailer here: • Video
The special is a taped version of a live show run for over 500 performances from 2016-2018 here in New York City, a run that was extended by popular demand three times (!!!) Now, yes, this is a channel about stand-up comedy and In and Of Itself is, by all accounts, a magic show. But it's so much more than that. Today, we're going to talk through the special, discuss the relationship between stand-up comedy and magic, and explore the tools an artist can use to tell their story.
