🇵🇪#8 STRANDED ON LAKE TITICACA? 🇫🇷 | Travel | Peru
We arrived in Puno at 6 a.m. and took a boat at 7 a.m. to Taquile Island. Unfortunately, I couldn't charge my camera and phone batteries during the overnight bus ride. That's why the video is short compared to the other episodes.
I really wanted my friend to experience what I experienced in 2015. I always dreamed of taking a boat trip across this enormous lake! It truly is an amazing feeling, and I know we could have gone straight to Arequipa, but I really wanted my friends to see the lake with their own eyes, even if it was just for less than a day in Puno. We had a great time on the island, walked a lot, and couldn't believe how breathtaking it was.
We returned to Puno, walked around the city center (unfortunately, the main square was under construction/renovation), and grabbed some food. Then we took an overnight bus to Arequipa!
