From the home screen, tap Settings.

Note: If VoiceOver is currently enabled, tap once to highlight Settings, then double tap the screen to select. If Settings is not on the current screen, use 3 fingers to swipe left or right to the next screen.

Alternatively, you can press and hold the Home key to access Siri, then ask Siri to "Turn VoiceOver on" or "Turn VoiceOver off."

Scroll to and tap General.

Note: If VoiceOver is currently enabled, use 3 fingers to scroll, tap once to highlight General, then double tap the screen to select.

Tap Accessibility.

Note: If VoiceOver is currently enabled, use 3 fingers to scroll, tap once to highlight Accessibility, then double tap the screen to select.

Tap VoiceOver.

Note: If VoiceOver is currently enabled, tap once to highlight VoiceOver, then double tap the screen to select.

To enable: Tap the VoiceOver switch to the right.

To disable: Tap once to select the VoiceOver switch, then double-tap to turn the feature off.

Using the VoiceOver feature changes how a user interacts with the iPhone.

Tap once to select an item and have VoiceOver read the selection.
Quickly double-tap to activate the selected item.
Swipe using three fingers to scroll left, right, up or down.
Note: Read the alert message and tap OK one time to select, then double-tap OK to enable VoiceOver.

VoiceOver settings may be customized to suit personal tastes.

Use three fingers to scroll up or down through the various options. Tap once to select a setting, then double-tap to adjust the setting as needed.

The VoiceOver settings are now changed.
