Flashing Lights is the 2nd single from the upcoming Flow State release. The music video was produced in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. Utilizing the gorgeous sunsets and eclectic scenery of San Jose, we aimed to capture the freedom and beauty of the region that now inspires the artist.
The Song is an ode to the easygoing, playful and relaxed vibe of the Baja peninsula where it was shot. David Morin’s smooth, soul-drenched voice shines just as bright as the stunning visuals, portraying him in various locations where the album was originally conceived. Koyla’s funky, bass driven production sets the backdrop for a nostalgic, chill and uplifting experience. The lyrics paint visions of the “good life” we all yearn for, and the song brings that dream to life.
“ Flashing lights is essentially my ‘Vision Board’ song. I was writing what I wanted my future to be like. I wanted to manifest abundance in my experiences, my relationships and happiness. I wanted a better life for myself. So I imagined blue skies, beaches and pure love. I am currently living near the beaches in Cabo, Mexico, living my best life after leaving my roots behind…and the Love is all around.” David
