IBM Spectrum Protect OC 8.1.11 –Google Cloud Storage Support – Demo
Google Cloud Storage can now be utilized as an off-premises cloud container storagepool for Spectrum Protect data and Spectrum Protect’s db backup. This is a demo of how to create an off-premise cloud container storage pool.
1. Create a bucket in Google Cloud Storage
2. Create an off-premises container storage pool in Spectrum Protect
OC / Storage / Storage Pools / + Storage Pool / General / Off-Premises
3. Create a connection for the Spectrum Protect db backup
