31. Web Application Penetration Testing and Secure Coding - Session #3
In this video, we will continue to see Session.
We will see how the login mechanism works.
We will see how to set session, get session variable's value and destroy session using PHP.
We will first see the flowchart of our program.
Then we will see how to convert that flowchart into programs.
Then we will create 4 php webpages index.php, home.php, process.php, destroy_session.php
We will write PHP code inside every webpage and set redirection to another page.
Finally, we will see how server sets the cookie, the browser saves the cookie inside cookie jar, then browser sends that with a further request and web server using that session id retrieves session variable's values and print those values onto the webpage.
We will write code using PHP, see every request and response with Burp Suite and finally see everything in a graphical version for better understanding.
