Kidscape's anti-bullying workshops
ZAP is a one day assertiveness workshop for bullied children and young people aged 9-16 and their parents/carers. Through role-play and practical activities, young people are given a tool box of skills that will prepare them to deal with and deflect potential bullying situations in a positive and safe way. Exercises raise their confidence and self-esteem, and every young person who attends leaves feeling better able to cope.
Parents also greatly benefit from the session, as they are able to talk with Kidscape's specialist staff, learn ways to further support their child and receive support from other parents/carers who are going through similar experiences.
