Genshin Impact is a Zelda: BOTW inspired open world gacha game that came out of nowhere and exploded in popularity recently. This no doubt has to do with the f2p (free to play) nature of the game which attracted a lot of gamers. Genshin Impact takes a lot from BOTW, but adds a lot of its own flare as well. Genshin Impact gameplay basically involves collecting anime waifus and exploring the huge and beautiful open world. It's a perfect game for weebs and anime nerds, as well as any other gamers who are into singleplayer open world RPGs.
