MEGA65: Patch a Commodore 65 ROM to use with the XEMU Emulator

In previous MEGA65 videos where I install Xemu, to emulate the MEGA65 on my Mac, and configure a Nexys4 FPGA, to create an inexpensive hardware MEGA65 solution, I mention that "legally" those who do not own a C65 or MEGA65 Dev Kit, must use the open ROM and I could not share the in development closed ROM. That announcement was not popular and caused an exit from the community since the Open ROM is a work in progress; however, in this video and companion blog post, I share how to "locate" the ROM from an original Commodore 65 prototype (I do not share links) and then use the tools provided by the MEGA65 team to patch that original ROM with the latest MEGA65 additions.
Along the way, I answer the question, will an original Commodore 65 ROM work in Xemu, on the Nexys4 board, on my Dev Kit, and allow me to travel back in time to 1991 and experience a then in development ultimate Commodore 8-Bit computer, the C64 DX (or later, the C65)?
