LA Radio Sessions: Dave Marsh on Jon Landau's first encounter with Bruce Springsteen
May 9, 1974, rock writer Jon Landau saw the show where he wrote: "I saw my rock'n'roll past flash before my eyes. And I saw something else: I saw rock and roll future and its name is Bruce Springsteen." Jon later became Bruce's manager. Rock writer Dave Marsh was with him that night (forgoing "Kojak") and tells how the evening unfolded in this interview done by Mike Stark a few years ago.
