September 2024 Astrological Overview: Pisces Lunar Eclipse, Pluto re-enters Capricorn, and more!
September holds dynamic energies that encourage us to face our past, deal with reality, and realize that we’re all in this together. We kick off Eclipse Season with a Lunar Eclipse at 25 degrees of Pisces on September 17. This emotionally powerful Eclipse will oppose the Sun in Virgo, bringing up themes of perfectionism, duty, obligation, and the need to be seen through compassionate eyes. Traditionally, Lunar Eclipses are known to bring events to a head that have been brewing over the past six months, since the last Eclipse Season. Lunar Eclipse time is often when we see what’s really going on, and with this Eclipse in the sign of Pisces, we’re apt to become aware of something that has been disguised in illusion. This Eclipse event, as well as some of September’s other astrological energies, could reveal some plot twists in the already unpredictable U.S. election.
Note: I accidentally said that Mars was in Gemini all month, when in fact, it moved into Cancer on September 4. Let's chalk that one up to Mercury Retrograde, when I made the video ;-)
