Even though both the contact and the thank you pages are really simple, they are some of the most important pages on your site because everything you do in marketing is meant to drive someone to end up there. So you wanted to.
By the way, my name is Clint, and on this channel I give tutorials on things like content marketing, seo, web design, and more. So if that's the stuff that you're into, consider subscribing to stay updated when new content comes out.
The contact page is made up of five parts. Let me break these down. One. Use a contact form or embed a scheduler in a clear and prominent way only ask for the essential information needed. You can always qualify the lead later on.
Here you can see that the primary calls to action are to call or verify insurance, and it's definitely clear on the contact page
\ two. The Expectation Setter text. This lets people know when they can expect to hear back from you. It keeps you honest and it allows the lead to have a timeframe for when to be on the lookout from communication from you.
Now, because this is often a time of crisis for people on Samsung Care's website, we'd like to say we're available 24 7, and for insurance verification, we show people that it can be done in minutes.
Three buttons for non prospects. You don't want your current customers using your contact form. You also don't want to hop on a sales call with somebody only to immediately find out that they don't have the budget to work with you. Now, orbit Media has this section for current customers so that they don't fill out their form designated for new leads or.
Or you can have a button that takes people to your FAQs or to a different form altogether. This keeps your communication organized and tidy, or it prevents someone from submitting the form when they're not really sure if they want to work with you
fully, which is a brand that made my standing desk does a good job of trying to solve people's questions with content right next to where people can reach out to communicate with.
Four. Your phone number and address your phone number helps people get into contact with you easier. If you're leery of putting your cell phone out into the internet, you can always set up a free Google Voice number that allows you to present a different number that will redirect to your phone.
Now your address is important to add, especially if you are a local business with a Google My Business page because it helps to verify that you are a real place.
five. A picture of you or your building exterior and or a map. Again, this just lets people know that they're dealing with real humans in real places.
Here's an example from an awesome local co-working space. They have a picture of their front entrance, and then they have a map showing people where they can park below that.
Now some extra stuff that doesn't hurt on these pages is to put testimonials or social proof here, just like on any other place on your website where the browser has to make a decision. Some social proof helps to drive action.
Next is your thank you page. This page is important for a few reasons. It helps people know that they have successfully submitted their form or become a lead. Makes it easier to track goal completions and Google Analytics because you can set it to measure conversions only when they get to a certain.
AKA your thank you page, and it allows you to make another smaller ask, such as opting into your email newsletter.
Here is how it should look. It needs a genuine thank you and a reminder of when they will hear from you. It should have another sign up, whether it's to your newsletter or another type of lead magnet. are more likely to sign up for this when they have already opted in and submitted their contact form for something else.
And this way, if they ghost you, it allows you to stay in touch with them for next you want to have links to popular content. This helps to demonstrate that you are a real pro, even before you hop on a sales. . And lastly, you wanna have your social media icons so that they can connect you with you in other places if they're interested. That's it. Keep it clean, keep it simple.
