Tears and joy of one day
On Sunday morning, June 9, the funeral schedule was announced for Yamam Police Special Forces commander Captain Arnon Zmora, who was seriously wounded during the hostage rescue operation at the Nuseirat camp. He later died from his wounds. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has named the operation after him, Operation Arnon.
A funeral for Arnon Zmora will be held on Mount Herzl today, June 9. The funeral will begin at 4:00 PM.
The day before, Kibbutz Yad Mordechai reported that Captain Zmora had voluntarily arrived at the kibbutz on the morning of October 7 and personally fought against Hamas's Nuhba special forces. He and other fighters liberated the captured kibbutz, killing 47 militants.
