WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE TO LIVE ON PLUTO?
Deep within the Solar System, far beyond the gas giants and their moons, in a region teeming with asteroids and comets called the Kuiper Belt, a mysterious little object inhabits this distant location. It's called Pluto. Pluto was once considered the ninth planet of our Solar System, but it lost that title in 2006 when it was reclassified as a planetoid, or dwarf planet, due to its small size. It's a world full of canyons and methane ice mountains. If you lived on Pluto and wanted to send a message to someone on Earth, whether a family member or friend, it would take about 4.5 hours for your messages to reach Earth. It would be annoying, but perhaps you'd get used to it. But still thinking about it, what would it be like to live on this small, icy world of the Solar System?
