In this video we have configure Telnet Protocol on router using Cisco Packet Tracer and we have change the name of router using telnet from another router
What is Telnet:-Telnet is a protocol that allows you to connect to remote computers (called hosts) over a TCP/IP network (such as the internet). Using telnet client software on your computer, you can make a connection to a telnet server (that is, the remote host)
Command for telnet protocol:-
1)line vty 0 2 :-Telnet access to the Router is allowed through VTY lines. We can establish up to 16 telnet connections to to the Router at the same time but here he have provided 2 connection (0 2)
2)password abc:-he have provide password to the router which is abc
3)enable secret abc :- that mean ge the access of the router ones password is inputed
4) telnet ipaddress :- to access the router
5) host somename :- to change the name of router
