Easy Mini Cooper R56 Timing chain replacement done on the side of the road in Queens NYC. My brother Froy helped me out and did most of the job. It took about 3 hours from start to finish. Worth mentioning the hiccups here and there fabricating and modifying some “special tools” from amazon that didn’t come as “plug and play”. It surely was an unforgettable experience and most of all we had fun doing it while saving thousands of $$$ had it been serviced by Mini dealership. We bought the Genuine BMW/MINI Timing Chain kit from a Mini dealership for about $200. Labor? Free!
