The Mediator in Automotive Software: ZF's New Middleware
ZF’s new middleware is a “mediator” between a vehicle computer’s operating system and its software applications. Key functions of this open software platform are the abstraction of computing hardware from software applications and the communication between these applications. The company presented it to journalists and customers at a pre @CES event. “The ZF middleware is a core component in our future software architecture,” said ZF expert Nico Hartmann.
