12V car cigarette lighter plug - quick look and testing
I very often use 12V cigarette lighter socket in car for charging phone / laptop but because of being non smoker person, i never had car cigarette lighter in my hands.
To me looks like bimetalic strip acting as restive load, after applying current and heating up it pop out breaking circuit.
