Freedom of Expression and Censorship - It Is Written
The right of everyone to hold an opinion without fear of interference, the right to freedom of expression, and the right to freedom of religion are enshrined in Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and reaffirmed in Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. However, it is reported that 62% of the world's population lives in countries where freedom of worship is violated...and these are not necessarily the countries you might think of! As a pastor and communicator, this week's guest has long worked to defend this right of expression and religion in his professional capacity, and together with Patrick, they take stock of these rights, which are believed to be inalienable. What about the attitude or responsibility of Christians when these rights to freedom of expression and religion are violated?
