This straight layered soap is made to look like a Carrot Cake. I shredded orange soap colored with Paprika to mimic the carrots. I'm using spice essential oils to speed up trace between each layer. My essential oils are sweet orange, ginger, black pepper, cinnamon leaf, anise star, and clove. Colorants are Cocoa Powder, Paprika, and Annatto Seed + indigo to make green.
I'm soaping at 87 Degree Fahrenheit. Lightly pulse your hand mixer until the oil and the top are mixed. Do not over mix. You need to allow to for each layer to set up. Split the batch into 3 containers evenly.
2 cake layers with shredded carrot, 2 layers with frosting. Save a little for the piped carrots that go on the top.
