This video is an example of How To Drop The Bass in a Hard Trance track. I have included a free FL 20 Project file available for download so you can try this for yourself. The intention is that this will serve as a useful starting point for aspiring music producers at all levels and hopefully provide some inspiration for anyone who is stuck in a rut with their Hard Trance track.
The Bass Drop is one of the most important parts of your track, especially in Hard Trance, as it serves as the first point where people will hear your track in a club environment. If the Bass Drop does not contain enough tension and punch then there is a risk you could lose the dance floor.
This video will demonstrate How To Drop The Bass - HARD!
Using a combination of Illformed Glitch 1 & Auburn Sounds Grallion 2, I have simulated an effect that combines stretching the incoming audio and then pitching it down to emulate the sound of a record player being switched off with the needle still on the vinyl.
Although it sounds complicated it is a relatively easy effect to achieve.
