Backstory:
This song was written in memory of my much beloved grandma. Even though my grandma passed away long before covid entered our lives, I’ve been thinking about her a lot during the pandemic. It’s been such a tough 18 months for so many, so this is dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one. This is a really personal song for me, so I hope you connect with it.
My grandma taught me to play the piano and fostered my love of good food, music, volunteering/giving back, travel/exploring and appreciating different cultures. She really inspired me to be a better person every day, I wanted this song to honour her memory.

It’s been a massive achievement for me to get to this point as I am still recovering from post viral fatigue after contracting dengue fever in Brazil. Yay for painkillers/sports drinks/caffeine 🤣 Shooting a music video is demanding at the best of times, so I usually film over about 4-5 days/often spread over several weeks (I find I can manage my energy better that way) as you need to put a lot into any performance.
