Struggling to figure out the brand new smashing hit toy, Gemma, a robot scientist, is in the process of trying to make an Artificial Intelligence called Megan to see if it can be a hit. However, in the middle of her work, she has to take care of her niece, Cady, who is going through a rough time. To achieve her goal at work and make Cady feel better, she takes advantage of this opportunity to have Megan spend time with Cady and a friendship then ensues. Further on down the road, things start to become intense and scary once Megan starts to make irrational, immoral and beyond insane decisions.
